What birthdays really mean

Well, I turned double nickels this week and I have a lot to celebrate because I have the best family and friends in the world.
First, my family took me out for lunch on Sunday....my neice's bd is one day before me so everyone was there. Great time. Then to my mom's for cake. A little story there but not for the world to know.
Then my kiddos came over and played cards (3s) with me for several hours. How cool was that? They really gave me their time......a true celebration of family. And they rigged the cards so I couldn't lose one time when I was out of the room for a little bit. They had the opportunity to rig the cards for me to lose, but I thought that was pretty good to resist that urge.
On my birthday, I had a call from Lori.........yea and then I got to go have lunch with Jeff. He paid which was pretty cool.
That night my girlfriends (the best) had a big party for me complete with gifts and cake and balloons. We enjoyed good food and wonderful fellowship and fun in the pool. Joel even came over with stragazer lillies to add to my bouquet. He go a million points for that. Very cool. We were really celebrating deep friendships........what a group!!! Thank you all.
Joel is taking me out sometime this week to the Gaylord (another million points). I count myself very fortunate and blessed.
Now, to make that big pillow for Jeff!!!!!!!!
